Research Interests

  • Optical fibers with fiber Bragg gratings, for example Fiber optical Shape Sensing
  • Tracking based guidance, for example 3D guidance of a stentgraft based on optical fibers and electromagnetic tracking
  • Stochastic modeling for decision support, e.g. Quarantine decisions in the corona pandemic
