Title: Algorithms for nonsmooth optimization problems and applications
Abstract: The content of the talk is as follows: we first give a motivation of non-smooth optimization problems and then present the main ideas of algorithms for a class of non-smooth optimization problems coming from sparsity regularization and total variation regularization. The algorithms are developed further for solving the non-negative matrix factorization problem and the blind deconvolution problem.
