Title: Nonlinear Variational Methods in 4D Imaging
Abstract: This talk will discuss some variational approaches for efficiently tackling 4D imaging problems with a particular focus on dynamic problems including motion.
We will discuss the Lagrangian and Eulerian paradigm for treating such problems and then focus on numerical methods for the latter. We will finally discuss applications in Positron-Emission-Tomography and Live Microscopy.
