At Fraunhofer MEVIS Lübeck 8 girls from 7th to 10th grade have the opportunity to spend one day at the institute in the field of medical image computing. Researchers from Fraunhofer MEVIS will explain how medical images are processed by computers. The girls will get to know how the human perception of colors and contrast works and how it can be used for an appropriate visualization of images on the computer screen. In an interactively fashion various methods for image analysis will be discovered.
