Title: Platform-independent description of imaging algorithms
Abstract: In the last years real-time imaging also for more complex tasks became possible mostly because of the progress made in parallel computer architectures like found in GPUs. However, the programming effort increases especially for hardware-aware implementations. We will introduce a new idea to generate parallel C++ and CUDA implementations automatically from a high level description of the mathematical problem. Example applications include image registration or image denoising.
