Title: Retinal image analysis: a cost-efficient peek to the retina
Abstract: In the last decades, eye care is going through a major revolution due to new image techniques that are being incorporated in clinical practice and new treatments that restore vision in diseases that could not be treated before. However, this revolution has come along with a massive increase of the clinicians' workload and expertise required for diagnosis and decision-making. In this talk, I will present how our group tries to overcome some of these challenges using advanced techniques for retinal image analysis.
